Roku Love

In a house with a lot of technology, my Roku is my favorite piece. Nothing else is as small, as powerful, as intuitive, and makes me want to sell other related devices, as my Roku.

Audio settings do not provide backward compatibility or options with sound systems other than stereo or SuperHD5.1. Roku 3 has made Netflix virtually useless.

Got a streaming stick with the purchase of a Sharp tv. Stick did not work and upon calling ROKU it was replaced with the Roku 3. Am very pleased with the Roku 3 it has great apps and is super quick at streaming. My dvd streaming apps seem quite slow now. If you need a streaming device I highly recommend the ROKU 3.

Why did I wait to upgrade?

I've been using Roku for several years and was quite happy with it.I really didn't expect to see a big difference when I bought he second unit but I was way wrong. Ease of use, a huge selection of apps, the clarity of video and the speed are really outstanding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even with a SMART TV this is a good investment

I bought 1 Roku 3 and decided I wanted one in both Bedroom and living room so bought a 2nd one. The remote is quite good, only improvement I'd make is a qwertry keyboard. Picture is excellent, not a single complaint.

Transformed the way I view TV

I was never a TV watcher. I don't have patience to sit through commercials, and I'm too cheap to add a second DVR to our cable bill. My husband is a news addict who always has control of the remote, so TV watching has never been fun or relaxing for me. Last month I took the plunge and bought another TV and a ROKU3 for our unused family room. My life will never be the same.
My three teens come out of their caves now for Pandora, YouTube, and Netflix. My husband watches with us, and so crazy as it sounds, it's helped bring our family together. I love my ROKU3!!
