Roku3 is my second Roku. It is incredibly easy to set up & use. I especially like the headphone jack on the remote. I have given Rokus as gifts & they are always a huge hit. This is the way to watch television! If I could get HBO & Showtime without having cable I would get rid of it in a second!

A Must Have Device

I have been so please with my Roku I now have 3 in my house. Easy to install and use with a growing list of available free sites/channels and a must have have if you want to enjoy Netflix and Hulu. Truly something for every one in the family.

Nowadays, when the TV, Reciever, Blu-Ray, etc... try to be the all-in-one, jack of all trades and provide incompetent functionality, it's refreshing that Roku only provides Best in Class internet content delivery. no-fuss. all-day. period.

My expectations were well off base. Probably my fault. I was looking for a unit to tune to a select few channels in real time through the internet, not realizing that this unit wasn't capable of that, unless I'm missing something. Just streaming prior recorded short clips and being a conduit for movie providers like Hulu, Netflix and Crackle, just adds another link in the chain to move data through, whereas my tablet, smartphone etc can HDMI right into any nearby TV and I can access my FIOS content.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
