The Roku is so easy to set up. Plug it in to your TV then plug in the power and follow the on screen instructions. All you have to do next is sign up to whatever streaming video channels you want to pay for, NETFLIX, AMAZON and dozens of free channels that are also available such as Disney movie trailer channel to see trailers of Disney movies available for purchase or upcoming to the theater. I personally watch a couple of streaming channels that I pay a small monthly charge for that is substantially less than cable premium channels and I can watch what I want when I want in HD. The Roku 3 processor is much faster and streams movies so much better than its predecessor. The difference is like night and day. I used to have to wait for buffering in the middle of a movie but not anymore. This is very nice and I highly recommend it. Roku 3 is great! I just about forgot, there is a Roku app that you can download to your smartphone to use as a remote that is pretty convenient also!

No AVI format support. Is like having many old family photos on paper and not been able to watch them. I have discard using this product because of that and do not know what to do with it. Bought two WD LIVE TV no format limit. This limitation
is pure rubish. Why the limitation???? How often I used the ROKU? NEVER. Converting the files to other format is a waist of time.

Smooth streaming

I have been using Roku for years, and this latest player is the best I have had. The streaming is consistently smooth, the interface is easy to use, and the new and smaller design is unobtrusive and sleek. It is very easy to set up.
I have bought this player for my daughter, and recommended it to others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Crisp Clear and Cool

Had now several months. Love the product and apps. The addition of headphones on the remote is awesome. Kids can read, study, watch TV and not disturb each other. Also late night TV watching can be done in total silence, of coarse unless your watching comedy then you hear the random laughing through the house.

Why no audio output?

We use our Roku 3 Similar to our old one it replaced. It is nice to have the HDMI output and the option of wireless N or wired Ethernet. But the one thing I use it for the most is streaming Music from Pandora One.
But you have to have the TV on in order to get sound. I finally fixed this with a splitter and a converter to get my sound into my music system. I love being able to put on good music and listen to it during the day.
