Good selection of channels

Roku 3 works good for someone that doesn't have a collection of movies they want to watch for me the thing is impossiblely stupid it won't play avi files or mkv I sorted my folder on my network storage and arranged everything now the roku won't see any of it wish it would run xbmc then 4.5 stars but won't happen so 2

Yes this is the best streaming box

and yes do buy it. Apple and Amazon have streaming boxes that are not the friendliest to apps that are not their own. Roku has ever streaming service you need, not to mention headphone jack for their remote. One of the only purchases i don't regret in anyway

TV channels

I hate it when I try to watch stuff on A & E and it wants me to sign in, a bunch of channels do this, and when you do it asks for your TV provider. This is all I have, I don't have a TV provider and as far as I can see, there is no way around having to put in a provider to get these channels.

This is my second Roku and will probably get a third for the guest room. I love the earpods and that the remote transmits and receives through walls.

Great little streaming device. We now watch the majority of our TV viewing on Roku. My wife and I are very happy with it.

Roku is a lousy file manager for accessing movies and music stored on my hard drive . Awkward and slow.
