Love It!

I've used apps on my Blue Ray, TV and Chrome Cast. The Roku has the best user interface by far. I have the Roku 3 and it is my first. I was most interested because of the ability to add channels. Specifically the plex channel. I use it to stream movies that I ripped from my library. I enjoy the convenience of not having to load BR or DVDs. This works well. Plus I have HBO, Showtime and Amazon. The Roku is a must for these as well. It has a great interface for watching all the series that I enjoy. The only downside is parental control. It needs a way to lock down based on rating, and channels. I wish I could password protect channels. Instead, it leaves this up to the individual channels you load. You can password protect the ability to add channels, but the doesn't help if you have Roku that is shared between family use and parent. All in all, it's the best out there, and I'm buying another for another TV. I also have it running through a universal remote. That setup isn't easy. But once it was setup everything works great.

Big Cat Rescue Loves Roku

We bought a Roku player for our summer camp this year so the kids could watch the Big Cat Rescue channel whenever it was raining. They loved it and so do we.

Roku Streaming provides us with access to ACORN!

We went with Roku specifically for access to ACORN and all of the Best Shows on the BBC. All of the great mysteries like Midsomer Murders.

I bought my Roku 3 out of necessity cause the cable/satellite services were so expensive and I couldn't live without any of my shows at the same time. Never thought I would learn to love it!!!

I first was considering to buy the Amazon Fire because I use Amazon Prime very frequently. I was really just caught up in all the Amazon reviews for it with its processing speed and voice commands; However, once I started reviewing the ROKU 3, I realized all the other set-top boxes couldn't compare to all the ROKU 3's well rounded features including its unmatched channel and app selection. Once I expanded my review off CNET's 2013 ROKU 3 review , I understood right then that ROKU 3 was my choice. I couldn't be happier with my ROKU 3 purchase this last month. Anyone considering the ROKU 3 will not be disappointed. Great value!

Large number of channels

Bought this a couple of months ago based on my nephew's recommendation. Been very happy with it. Large selection of channels to choose from. My wife is into Korean drama and this is a lot of content for that.
