Great at first

Bought two Roku 3's about year ago. I loved at first. Told everyone. Then within the last two months both have stopped working. Followed reset, unplug..... still they do not work! Grr! Not Happy!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had the roku 3 for 9m, it works great have not had any issues. It is a great way to get access to Netflix, Hulu, and other tv apps. It has games and music apps also. One thing I wish it had was a way to access the internet its self or give options for local channels. Maybe in time. Still love it and looking to get more for my kids.

I have one for each bedroom and have expanded into my 5th wheel as well for when I travel. Love, love, love my Roku's.

I purchased this because I wanted to get rid of my cable. While most of the apps are free the programming is not. I really wanted PBS and Hallmark channels but what they give you is limited, No concerts or PBS Specials on health or wealth (Suze Orman, Dr Furman) Hallmark has a monthly fee and no Cedar Cove. It did make my old DLP TV into a 55 inch Smart tv because now I can watch Hulu and Netflix. I already pay for them. This is not a solution to no cable.

great features BUT

I have been using for almost a year. Sometimes it takes spells and has to reload its self. And when using the earphones they eat up batteries. Other than that it is great.
