Well worth the money

I love my Roku. I first bought it to watch Acorn TV, that's British TV for those who have not heard it. Most of the series are those on Public Broadcasting Stations,and they need our support also. There is a large selection of channels to choose from, both for children and adults. I am never board.
I have had no problems since purchase. I recommend this product.

Awesome selection of channels

Love this model. The Roku 3 allows me to watch TV early in the morning plugging in headphones so there is no way to wake up my Son in the next room. I'm also a ham radio operator and am able to view the Amateur Radio Logic channel. Can't get that anywhere else.

I've had the original Roku N1000 since 2007. I loved the convenience, the selection and concept from the start. The Roku 3 takes all of that to a new level. I haven't used half the new-to-me features yet, but can tell you it's far faster and the headphone jack in the remote is pretty sweet. Though I'm living alone, doing laundry in the next room makes the TV inaudible. Plug in a pair of earphones and bam, I'm back in business.
I have had occasional Netflix malfunctions, but would be surprised if that wasn't on Netflix's end. Amazon, Slacker and TuneIn Radio all work great. Oh and the YouTube app is amazing! How long have you wanted to find a video with your phone or tablet, then pick it right up on your TV? It takes seconds, and for me (kinda old school), finally makes watching YouTube on the TV a practical reality. Why anyone would buy a smart TV these days, I have no idea. Let the TV do what it does (display content), and get a Roku to bring the content in to make it smarter.

Love my Roku 3

My work schedule and my sleeping schedule is different than the rest of my household so I often watch TV late at night. The earbuds on the Roku 3 are perfect for this. I have Rokus on three TVs and they're so easy to use that even the 8 year old has no trouble with it. We especially like to watch Netflix and Acorn TV.

I own a top-of-the-line "smart" TV that I thought would be great to use for streaming and watching Netflix/Hulu. I was shocked at how clunky the interface is and how poor the app integration. Roku solved this problem! I love everything about it. The unit is simple enough for my 3 year old to operate and robust enough to offer everything I need it to. I absolutely recommend it to everyone!

I love Roku and upgrading to the 3 was a great idea. The roku is user-friendly and has a lot of channel options. If you are looking to cut the cable or want to supplement your current subscription, don't hesitate to purchase.
