I bought two Roku 3's at the same time. 3 months later both remotes went out. Now I'm stuck.

I have two of these and although one of them seem to be a bit slower than the other, they are great. Only thing missing is 5.1 audio support. I also run it from an unsupported country, but it works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote control audio is terrible.

I like a lot of the new features. But the remote audio make noise all the time and the battery lasts about 1 hour. Difficult playing programs from beginning. Apple TV remote far better device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Faster and better!

I have the older model and this new one with faster speed in my living room. Everything about it is better and faster with no reloading downtimes if your internet speed is not the fastest out there. Even this remote is nicer than the cheaper model. I love it and use it everyday!

We purchased ROKU 3 as we heard it was faster and had the capability to use headphones to listen to shows. We have not been disappointed and highly recommend this product.

Roku allowed me to finally be free of my cable company's chokehold on me. I had tried to get my cable bill lower, calling the company, reducing equipment, etc. I could not get my bill down low enough, so finally I scooped up all my cable equipment and took it down to the cable company and said thanks, it's been great, but I'm now done with you. It was the most freeing feeling. I worried that I would have withdrawals from regular type TV viewing, but I didn't. Roku actually has made it easier for me to enjoy TV viewing with much fewer, if any, commercials. I love that my children can always find something appropriate to watch on Roku and that they are subjected to toy, cereal, etc. commercials.
I tell everyone how great Roku is! I have 10 friends who have purchased Roku for themselves after them understanding more what it is and how much I enjoy it.
I'm always amazed at those who haven't heard about Roku or don't know how it works......I tell them, I explain it, then they all want one!
Thanks a bunch and keep up the good work, Roku!! :)
