Excellent purchase

I love this small inexpensive addition to my media toys. Its extremely fast. Out of the box-plug in HDMI-sync with WiFi and you are ready to go! Yes I know most all WiFi Blu Ray players stream but not like this they dont and not this many channels and options..
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had my Roku 3 for over a year now and I couldn't be happier! The speed and reliability of this unit are unmatched. I have a bluray player that is also connected to the Internet as well as a smart TV and my Roku is still my "go to" for streaming. The other units sometimes hang up or have to be rebooted, but not the Roku... Not too mention the unmatched selection of channels!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great selection of things to watch

We got this two weeks ago and we love it. The only complaint is that some programs have too many breaks for the signal to catch up. Don't know what causes this.

Crystal Clear; Great Wireless Connection

We've had this for over a month and it's been working great. The picture is crystal clear on our 720p HDTV and we haven't noticed ANY pixelization as happens with digital TV sometimes when the signal is degraded. One thing I would LOVE to see is a MUCH better menu system. It would be great to see one menu showing all of the channels you've added rather than having to go into each channel individually to see what's available. My wife goes insane with the current setup. One more thing - MORE channels like BBC America and better deals with existing channels (like SyFy) so we can the actual shows instead of small clips.

Does streaming perfectly well

Been using the Roku 3 player for > 12 months, and I am just as happy and thrilled as I was when I received it. It does everything streaming beautifully. I have mainly used Netflix and the [DLNA] Media Player. As for Netflix, it's starts within a second (lightening fast! - Android version need at least 10 seconds to load) and I love the advanced interface. As for the [DLNA] Media Player, it's an 'okay' implementation and had never made better since its introduction. One the one hand I am glad it's available, but the interface and functions could be much more sophisticated. For example, it doesn't detect file types by itself. If you know you want to play back music files, you need to first select "Audio". Then, it would be nice it would keep playing music while watching pictures, but it can only do one or the other.
Streaming quality is excellent (I have a 30 Mbit/sec downstream connection to the Internet; the Roku 3 is connected via Cat 5e to an Ethernet hub, which is connected to another Ethernet hub, which is connected to a wireless router).
5 stars no doubt. Very highly recommended.

We ditched the dish, and have Hulu, net, and prime. We have so many choices, we have not even scratched the surface. Love newsy. Huffington, just such a great deal.
