Awesome...when it's not overheating.

Short and sweet, this is a great device with a lot of choices in a variety of genres. However, when you pay to watch a movie and the device constantly overheats, pausing the movie in the process, the device tends to loose its appeal. If it weren't for the overheating issue, this would be an easy 5+ star review.

Fast, User Friendly, Deaf Accessible

I had a smart TV and by gosh, its sloooow! The Roku 3 is fast and the interface is user friendly. I'm deaf and most of my family and friends are deaf. I am appreciative that Roku is deaf friendly by having closed captions and english subtitles available.

Hello Roku, Goodbye Cable

This is my second Roku. I upgraded from the first release to get the faster processor and new channels such as YouTube. It's well worth the price. I no longer use cable and now am exploring lots of alternative and classic film. Goodbye mainstream TV - Goodbye commercials.

Awesome little device!

I've had my Roku 3 for about a year and it's great. Nice interface, very responsive and fast. Two of my favorite features are:
1. The headphone jack in the remote. I like listening to music or catching up on my shows while cooking or cleaning.
2. Linking my phone to the YouTube app. It really makes searching for videos and watching them on my TV great.

I cut cable after buying it. I have Netflix streaming and Hulu Plus. It was a great decision.

Can't Beat the Original

What can i say?... its GREAT! Love the variety of channels, the interface is intuitive, & its easy to use. There are other boxes out there but nothing beats the original. Roku is proven & continues to get better with each version
