Roku asked me to write this review and since I own 3 of them I am happy to do it. Having purchased 3 should tell you all you need to know, they are great and no matter what you do get the 3 not any of the others. The 5x speed processor is super fast, and the head phone jack in the remote is priceless. It is HDMI only but I would even look at getting an HDMI converter and still by the 3 instead of getting the others that work with composite.
You do not have to be a cord cutter to get your money's worth out of the ROKU. Lots of cable stations now require cable/sat accounts to get content from them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my Roku 3

The ROku 3 is much faster than the Roku 2 and the interface is much more intuitive. The Roku 2 was great but often it was extremely slow. Occasionally it froze completely and had to have the plug pulled. Roku 3 has fixed all these problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the Roku because my original (the first Roku) finally died after maybe 7 years (time flies - so not sure how old it was - but I got my money's worth). For the most part - Roku 3 is great - but I would have expected a few freebie games or something --- not that big of deal - but every now and then (more than I would like) I have to unplug it because I get a message telling the content is not permitted --- very strange indeed.

Roku 3 is better the Roku 2 XS, my first Roku. The problem I have is Comcast's unlimited plan is now capped at 300 GB. When Streaming with Roku using Netflix or Hulu it eats up my cap. I'll soon stop using it altogether, nice paper weight :(

We get Netflix and have watch so much content without commercials we are spoiled.
I wish we would have done this a long time ago instead of getting cable TV.
