I bought this so I could use Amazon Prime video's and it certainly has been worth it. The set up worked easily and I have widened my horizons.

I bought this about a month ago and it is so much better than expected. The only thing I didn't know before buying it was that you couldn't turn it off. It is always on but it doesn't take much power. I will be buying another one for my daughters TV.

I expected more than I got. No live TV stations or Internet TV availability. I can watch things on my computer but cannot get on Roku. Lots of pay sites, but I really do not think they are worth the recurring cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgraded from the Roku 2 which was awesome but could be buggy. The Roku 3 has been flawless.
