Best for streaming

No problems at all. I bought this about 6 months ago and I am so glad I did. I had a Blu-Ray player that streamed but every time we streamed it would stop aNod pause several times during streaming. I blamed my cable service but since I purchased this small small player I have NO more stops and starts!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had an older ROKU XD/S for 4 years, NO cable.
Very glad I spent the bucks and bought the ROKU 3.

I finally cut the cord to cable and bought the Roku 3..I LOVE it! I still can see my shows plus so much more..It is so easy to install , just plug into tv and wall outlet..I plan to get the smaller one for my second tv..I cannot praise this enough..

Great Streamer

I had a Chrome streamer but didn't like it. I have a Roku 2 on my den tv that I like so I thought I would upgrade to a 3 for my tv in the living room.
This Roku 3 is all I could ask for in a streamer. Very simple to set up and it downloads movies very fast. If I had my way(wife want let me) I would ditch the dish. Great streamer. Highly recommend.

cool little box

This is my second Roku. It's a cool little box with lots of channels to play with. It's great for Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Go, etc. But it also has DLNA support and media server support. I use the Plex app on Roku to access ripped movies and TV shows on a home theater PC which is more intuitive than using a PC in the living room. It's easy to setup and easy to use. I do have a couple of gripes. I'm not a huge fan of the UI. It's easy to use no doubt. The home screen works but screen space is wasted. The channel icons could a little larger and there could be more of them on screen like with Apple TV, Android TV, and Fire TV. Some channel UI's look dated compared to others. It would be nice if the apps all shared a common look. I also don't like that the device can't be turned off.

Great Product - Still Missing One Feature

This latest version of Roku is much faster than previous versions and starts up quickly. The headphone jack on the remote is also a nice feature. What would be nice is the ability to power off/on or restart the unit from the remote. Although freezes are somewhat rare, it would be nice to not have to unplug the unit to perform a restart. I am sure many people like me, do not have the unit in a convenient place to unplug it and plug it back in to perform and restart. Aside from that, I am highly satisfied with the Roku 3.
