Lightning fast, instant streaming of EVERYTHING!

Roku 3 streams everything we watch, lightning fast! Loved it so much that we bought my parents one. My 87 yr old Dad finds it easy to use! Everything from HBO to Amazon Instant Video and Netflix as well as many specialty channels and games. It's the HUB of our families entertainment.

The 3 is much better and faster than the 1. And I love that you don't have to be pointing the remote at the box. I can pause a show from another room.

This is the 2nd Roku that I have purchased over the years. This one does almost anything you can get with streaming video. Also has a usb drive to watch other events.

I've had it for 3 or 4 months now and I'm very pleased with the design and features. The remote is well sized and has enough controls to handle the playbacks. Bluetooth instead of infrared is helpful as is the large selection of video providers. My only complaint has to do with my Internet provider and the need to switch the unit to 720p to prevent continual lapses in the stream.

I have owned one of every top Roku generation " First gen Roku HD - Second gen Roku 2 XS and now the Roku 3... well it is by far my favorite yet. The user interface is very simple to figure out and Smooth.. i mostly use my Roku for Netflix and it plays with out a hitch. If your looking for a small streaming box to play your stuff on well this is it.

has to be unplugged nightly

Works as it should EXCEPT it must be unplugged every night. If not, every afternoon I'llget a "unauthorized content" message and no picturr will not come on. EVERY DAY. I keep reading reviews it's a unanimous problem but Roku won't address it. I'd rather have the Roku 2...
