My ROKU 3

I had my Roku 3 for over a year now, great buy! I love the programs. I have Amazon Prime, Hulu and Netflix and got rid of Direct TV and haven't looked back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome Features!

I have been using a ROKU device for several years and would not use anything else. The streaming picture quality is awesome and I have never had a problem with the ROKU 2 or ROKU 3 that I have used.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roku Is Great

I have an original Roku and a Roku 3. The old one is very good, but the Roku 3 is great. It is very fast, has a wifi-base remote that doesn't have to be pointed at the Roku unit, and has quick replay. It handles both Netflix and Amazon Prime, which is very handy (Apple TV doesn't handle Amazon Prime).
I would recommend this to a friend!

No volume control in remote

volumn controls only works for ear phone not for TV. who designed this concept, i really don't know.
BUT rest of all is working fine as expected

I had a friend recommend Roku to me based on the number of Christian channels available through this streaming device, I must say that he was right not to mention all of the other channels, Roku is all that I use for my viewing I do not even have cable or any other means for viewing television, what Roku has to offer certainly meets all of my needs. I own three of them and if Roku comes out with another I will upgrade and have it also, Roku doesn't have a more satisfied customer than I.

Best unit ever!

Love it! There is so much to access with this unit. Movies, music, etc. You can pick the apps you like from an incredible store. Love everything about the Roku 3. My only criticism is that it doesn't have audio and video outputs in addition to the HDMI output. Would be good for people who don't have HDMI sets.

Best media player to cut the cord!

The roku player 3 is the best media player to cut the cord or just to have more media options than just cable or satellite. It has a USB slot to use for a USB stick or harddrive with media on it. It offers all of the main services, netflix, hulu, amazon, vudu, blockbuster. It also has 100's of other channels such as TNT, lifetimeme, you tube and way too many more to count. Movies, tv, pictures, music, you can get it all on roku, including games to use the motion sensored remote with.
I am even able to listen to my google voice account voicemails on my tv. I've had wdtv live and hub, app.e 5v, android tv, and a few other basic players and roku is by far the beat. While the other similar media players offer an assortment of media choices the roku 3 has thwm all and then some. On one you can get netflix and hulu but not amazon on another you can get amazon but not hulu and so on but roku 3 has them all. We have completely cut the cord and roku 3 with its services is all we have including no over the air tv and we havnt missed a thing. We may not watch a show when it airs but are able to do so within the week and since we work nights we couldmt have watched shows as they aired.anyway. We don't even miss sports with our playon service and nfl, mlb, and hockey subscriptions we miss nothing. We pay over a $100 less with the services we subscribe too, miss nothing, and can watch on our schedule not our providers.
Watch what you want, when you want and for seriusly less than cable or satellite. Have all the main services instead of only some, and watch your own purchased and download3d media as well. The roku 3 is by far the best option there is.
