Spectacular device which takes TV watching to a new level So glad I bought it. With the Plex app installed it makes streaming my files effortless and it makes our tv experience much more enjoyable.

I was having so much trouble viewing Netflix shows on my TV, and it was an unsuccessful attempt between Netflix and my cable provider to resolve the issue. I thought I could do no worse trying the Roku 3. This is absolutely a great investment!!! I am so pleased with the service, and I have absolutely no issues with viewing anything on my TV. I highly recommend the Roku 3.

Buy it! its great. I wish I would have done it years ago. hours of tv with no commercials. My wife and I actually watch tv together now again.

Does not stumble

After several years using streaming feature of Samsung DVD players, I realized cause of intermittent delay was not my ISP, modem, or router. It was the streamer. Roku is seamless, simple and has definition that does my monitor proud.

The future of cable TV

I bought this about a month ago because my cable company started encrypting OTA HD. So now what I used to get for free was going to cost me $10 a month. I instead decided to look into Aereo ($8 month), which gives me OTA HD and a DVR via Roku and other devices. I knew nothing about Roku, but pulled the trigger anyways. I have been happily delighted - hundreds of channels - many free ones with great content - CBS News, WSJ, Huffington Post, Fox, PBS, Indy move channels. I also discovered the Plex channel, which turned my PC into a media server with ease. Can't say

In the past, I've used a Mac Mini connected to the HDTV as a media center for streaming Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, as well as playing files off USB drives. The interface is easy to figure out, simple to navigate, and the quality is fantastic. We now get a lot more use out of these services we pay for, just because the Roku makes using them so much more convenient.

Easy Setup. Easy start.

Setup was easy. On line info re best method to output audio from TV to amp (amp does not have hdmi connection) was helpful with inexpensive switching device to prioritize video input to tv. Would like to have option to purchase second remote with ear buds for two senior citizens viewing.
