Awesome...but a few flaws

The roku is a great alternative to cable, however it stalls and just shuts off for no rhyme or reason. This is very annoying! Overall, my family and I enjoy the ability to acess our favorite channels.

Clean design; Intuitive ease of use; Except

Overall, I like the Roku3 - especially as a YouTube viewer. The directory is clean, simple, and intuitive. Nothing to complain about except the lack of audio input for my dvd sound system. Unlike the earlier models that enable users connect to dvd audio players, the Roku 3 lacked this feature. It was necessary to listen only through the television speaker - no surround sound. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 Stars.

Works ok, Can't turn off wireless broadcast

If you use a Harmony remote, you can't disable the built-in wireless hot spot the Roku uses to communicate with its native remote. This isn't a security issue per se, but it adds more congestion to the already overcrowded 2.4GHz spectrum. For this reason, I discontinued using it and replaced it with a FireTV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

They must be great because I give them as gifts, Thanks for adding youtube to the Roku 3., is the way to go I only wish you would have the ability to get rca cables out so it can be hooked up to older receivers not all new tvs today have audio out, I would like to see this in your next version and a better way to manage a slingbox also, 5 stars

I loved my Roku 3 so much, I have bought another. No cable or dish, just antenna on my roof and am not missing out. There is every genre, too many channels to mention, and majority are free. Was so tired of being robbed with my satellite provider, I feel empowered. Thanks Roku.

Great way to watch Programming

I bought the Roku a few months ago and have totally enjoyed using it. There are a lot of programs that are not available on Cable programming.

With so many options these days, sometimes it's difficult to choose the right media streaming device. I own them all and the Roku 3 is easily the best device of them all. With an intuitive and robust user interface, the Roku 3 makes watching online and personal media a pleasure. There are almost an infinite amount of channels, games and programs to choose from. The Roku 3 is a high quality product at unbeatable price!

I have been using a Roku 1 for about a year and was very pleased with it. When we upgraded to a flat screen TV, I upgraded the Roku also to take advantage of the enhanced features
