I bought the Roku 3 because I was very dissatisfied with the quality of my HD. The Roku 3 is 110% better than the Roku 2. HD is fantastic. I primarily use it with Neflix. Everything is at your figure tips.

Superb alternative...

We waited a loooong time for a better way to watch TV. After researching various ways to accomplish this, we decided to purchase a Roku. Turned out to be one of our better decisions and over a year later, we are very happy with our setup. No cable, no satellite, and we get to watch what we want, when we want. Couldn't be better.

I'm enjoying my Roku 3 player. I was a night shift worker for over 10 years and missed all the prime time movies and TV programs. Now I can watch my favorites. Thanks Roku.

Bought a Roku 3 about 15 months back. For the past 13 years was trying various cable services in various places in Us and paying a fortune to have 1 or 2 Hindi Channels like Zee tv & TV Asia. All cable companies would force me to have a big American channels bundle to have the Hindi channels. After getting Roku subscribed to Dishworld and enjoying 5 Hindi channels at a fraction of the earlier .
Streaming by Roku is excellent and am thinking why we did not go in for Roku earlier.

The machine is fast, Netflix works perfectly, the remote works OK. so yeah, I don't have that many complaints. Maybe it resets from time to time, and the remote has stopped working temporarily from time to time, but apart from that it's a wonder.
