The perfect cord cutter

I currently own 8 roku 3. It's the scissors that lets me cut the cord

Just bought roku 3 last month to replace my cable service. I was afraid that I would miss cable but roku has been amazing and totally satisfies my tv needs.

Great interface, improved over previous models

This is the 4th generation Roku I have owned. The UI of the Roku 3 is greatly improved. The search feature is great. The headset jack on the remote is fantastic.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the hardware runs hot and every 4 -6 weeks the video output fails. It needs to be turned off for several minutes to an hour in order for it to function properly. The previous 3 models did not have this problem. If RoKu support would have addressed the issue when I reported this I would have given this 5 stars.

Interested in Roku? Splurge for the Roku 3

I tried the first version to save a few bucks and was beyond satisfied. Then, I purchased the 3 just to see the difference, and WOW! Even better! IF you are looking to purchase, go ahead and spend the extra money for the 3. Totally worth it!

Super easy and great interface

Works great with my Harmony universal remote. Fast interface, built-in Plex client to watch movies served from my computer, and very high video quality despite our less-than-stellar DSL. I have two Rokus and love them.

I purchase a Roku XD a year ago an thought I was made for life. Then I upgraded and got the Roku 3 and now I know what perfection feels like. I perfectly happy with my Roku 3 I have watched movies from so long ago and current ones. I play music through the Roku 3 and my receiver; the sound is awesome. I gave my son my old Roku XD, he loves it just much as I do and he has a Xbox.

I had my 2 roku's for the past year and have enjoyed them. My request would be to add more premium channels to go with it. Other than that, my experience has been great.
