The best technology for me is the kind you don't even think about. Since I've plugged in my Roku 3 I've never had to touch it. It's intuitive, easy to use, and well built. They also have a great iPhone app for when your cat runs off with the remote. Again. Thanks Roku

Alternative to cable

The Roku 3 player allows me to stream many apps that I use to watch shows and movies. Its my version of cable without actually paying and arm and a leg for only and handful of channels I actually want to watch. Is a good way to save money as well. I enjoy using it have had a good experience with it so far.

Love my tiny Roku

I've had two Rokus for a year now. My plan was to avoid paying huge cable costs, and it's worked out brilliantly. I LOVE the remote with the headphone jack, which makes it possible to treadmill whilst watching TV. I am a Roku Fan. . . .

Trapped by cable

When the cable provider in our community pulled out we had few choices. One was satellite and I am not a fan. So I looked around and found this thing called Roku. We bought one and we now have 5..

Love the convenience

I have had my Roku for about four months and I am so glad I have it. It is very convenient to be able to stream shows to watch when I want to watch them. I've only had one small problem when it appeared to "hang up", but unplugging and plugging it back in seemed to solve the problem. Even for a non-techie like me, it is very easy to use.

It does everything it says it will. Only thing it needs is the ability to play media from Samba/windows share folders and other network file sharing protocols.
