Fix the wireless remote conflict for 5 stars

Overall I love my ROKU. This is my second one... The only problem I have had & I've read countless comments by other users who have had the same problem is; The wireless system used for the remote constantly conflicts with my wireless internet connection. I'm always getting booted from my wireless connection on my laptop. I haven't found a way to work around this problem. Other than this problem, I really love my ROKU box.

Outstanding selection; great, less biased news without all the commercials (Al Jazeera for example). BUT "Newsy" still hasn't got its volume under control: often, either so quiet you can't hear, or so loud it deafens. Gotta keep volume control in hand! Not good, but fixable if you only would!

We've had this for about a year (I think)? It works fantastic. It loads super fast and is infinitely easier to navigate than any cable box I've ever experienced. The headphones plug on the side of the remote is GENIUS. We initially had some problems with it getting static / scratchy sounds in the headphones -- but that seems to have cleared up. It might have been how dry it was here in the winter. Awesome product. I LOVE that anyone can make their own channel and broadcast content (level the playing field for new media!). And I'm glad Showtime finally got on board too.

I use it almost everyday and love it.
I do wish there were more official channels for things like Optimum cable, games, etc.
The interface could use a bump too.

Great functionality - but poor quality

We were excited to replace our older Roku with this new model. Buffering time is amazingly fast. Picture quality astounding. But every 90 minutes we have to reboot because of some circuitry problem that makes the sound go "buzzzzzz" and brings some snow to the picture. This seems like poor QC on the production line. (And why don't you ask below about "quality" of product?)

Great Steamer need more live sports

The Roku streamer is the best on market. It has options for all major streaming options. Like all streaming, no good options for streaming live local sports.
