Nice, sleek design. Easy interface. LOVE that the remote doesn't have to point at the device. Nice job! Extensive amount of apps to choose from. For those who don't want to pay ridiculous prices for cable, this is the perfect solution. Bad thing is, cable guys now put a cap on data usage.

Best way to cut the cable!

Bought it about a year ago and love it. The wide variety of channels can't be beat. We watch HBO series on Amazon Prime, whatever we want on YouTube, and movies, movies, movies on Netflix, Crackle and Hulu among many others. The price is right as our three paid subscriptions are fast less than our cable bill was. Buh-bye Time Warner, love you Roku!

We purchased the original Roku Box when it first came out and used it for several years with little trouble until streaming technology caught up with and passed it by. We began to experience buffering problems, even with a new router. By asking around and investigating the situation, we looked into the Roku 3 and liked extras it had to offer, as well as the additional streaming power. Glad we did! Once we had the Roku 3 setup, all the buffering/streaming problems were immediately eliminated. We highly

I have other generations of Ruku, but this one in 1080p surely outstand from the rest. Vast amount of options to chose, who needs cable? Love it!

I have two of the 2's and two of the 3's. The 3 is far superior, but they're all great. We cut the cable and this was the biggest way we pulled it off. We mostly use Netflix and Plex (best app in the Roku'sphere IMHO). Plex lets you use your own movie and TV show collection, even over the internet. I travel with a Roku and it is a great road companion. I love that you can plug headphones into the remote, helps when the wife falls asleep in the middle of a show and I don't want to wake her up. I also love how easy the remote is to use, my youngest daughter and wife use them without me ever having to explain how - not the same with some other solutions I've come up with (plugging PC's into TV's, Windows Media Centers with Remotes, etc) nothing comes close to the ease of a Roku. I've played with Apple TV and with that Android thing, they're cool and all but this is the top of the line - and for the same price you can't beat it. Again, though... stay away from the 2 - spend the extra couple bucks and buy the 3. The Netflix app SUCKS on the 2.
