In May of this year we "Cut the Cord" to cable/satellite and still wanted to be able to watch programming that is available through Netflix & Hulu Plus. On the up side, Netflix & Hulu Plus work great, thanks to our subscriptions to those programs, on the down side there is very little else available without having to pay premiums and other subscriptions, especially since we do not have a television provider.
The Roku works well, it is a small unobtrusive devise. It is easy to install and set up. I've read other review from people that don't like the remote, but it functions fine even if it is a little elementary. There is even a place to plug in head phones so one person in the room can enjoy a program without disturbing others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I finally entered the era of Netflix and streaming, I always thought it would be difficult. The Roku 3 made it easy!

I got rid of my cable, beefed up my network connection, and installed two Roku 3 units. I save a minimum of $150 a month, and have great programming to choose from. I will never go back to cable or satellite and pay for programs I don't watch. Roku is the smart green technology for TV.

ive had my roku 3 for a few months there is so much to watch ill never get cable again with the roku and an outdoor digital antenna the programs are limitless. best investment ive ever made

Almost Perfect!

We have been using this wonderful little unit for almost a year now and love it! It's "opened up" our media viewing capabilities for sure. We especially appreciate that it's an American product, invented here and I believe, completely manufactured here. Yay to the Roku team! We have recommended this unit to many who now love it too. Only 1 small issue we're not pleased with. We wanted to purchase the extended warranty but didn't because the only way (at that time) was to do it by phone to people in another country. Hmmmm - we don't like that and decided not to share our credit card information with the folks there. Other then that, we highly recommend this product!
