Easy to operate

My wife and I are in our 70s-80s and not the most sophisticated techies around. Consequently I'm happy to say our Roku, received as an anniversary gift, is uncomplicated and easy to use. It offers a wide variety of programming meeting all of our favorites.

I have used my Roku for about six months now and I absolutely love it. I did a lot of research on hardware modules of the like and finally settled on this. I was a bit skeptical at first because I wasn't sure it would work well with all of my home audio equipment. It actually blows me away how seamless it has become. It is fast, super easy to use, and feature packed! I liked mine so much I bought one for my parents and they love it too. I highly recommend the Roku 3.

Locks up every 1 to 2 weeks but otherwise is good

I have two Roku 2 units that have worked flawlessly and decided to pick up a Roku 3. It performs perfectly except for the fact that it will completely lock up every one to two weeks. At this point you have to unplug the unit and plug it back in to get it to work again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Video Store / Cable Replacement

Good video store/cable replacement. Easy to use. Only downside is having to use the remote as keyboard when searching for a title, which takes forever. A lot of the channels in the channel stores are useless but being able to watch Netflix and Youtube on your TV makes it all worthwhile.

I am not impressed with the Roku. I find that although there are numerous "channel" choices, the channels offer little more than what I can get via my Comcast XFinity On-Demand and they require individual subscriptions and/or pay-per-view. If it weren't for the ability to get Netflix I probably would scrap the Roku.

This product works very well, is easy to use and performs exceptionally well. The only additional changes I would like to see, would be for movie descriptions and DVD/Blu-ray disc cover photos to be added to movies you view via the USB port. Other than that, I have zero complaints!!
