I like this little device, it works well, when everything it depends on works too. For example, some Comcast modems have a problem with compatibility. I would like to thank the Roku representative, who really helped me to solve this problem, and now my Roku works well.

very good streaming and hd video

brought this to watch the world cup soccer. did not disappoint. streaming is smooth and video is hd quality. i connected the player to wired internet. netflix is great as well. sometimes, with netflix, the first few seconds show smudgy low quality video. then it becomes better and gets to hd quality. very occasionally, the player would need a reboot. the power chord needs to be pulled out and put in back again.

Much Improved Over Older Roku Unit

I purchased the 3 to improve the video and audio performance of my XD. The 3 DID make the purchase worth while; but, to my, surprise the biggest improvement was the user interface and SPEED increase. The XD is on my TV in the bedroom and using it makes me appreciate the 3 every time. FYI - I am looking to get a new TV and really don't want a "Smart" one. Waste of money with the Roku. Put the $$ in picture quality, not gimmicks.

Bought it so I could access HBO Go. Play it on my 60 HDTV. Great picture. Fast response. Never a hitch when streaming. Everything I wanted.

great streaming device

I have had this for 4 months or so and I love it. I use it with the media browser app for streaming content from my NAS box, Netflix and amazon. Awesome video and connectivity, smooth operation small foot print makes this a must have for any room. My only complaint is every once in a while the remote looses connectivity to the device and I have to reboot it. Other than that it works great.

Wonderful Addition

The Roku has been a welcome addition to our electronics assortment. I love the HD capabilities. Before Roku we were limited to SD and sometimes watching HD movies was a bummer. The only issue we have see with it is connectivity. From time to time it will for no apparent reason loose connectivity with our wireless router and I will have to go through the process of reconnecting. It is simple enough to do just a bit annoying. Overall, though, it is an awesome piece of technology.
