Made it easy to walk away from cable...

I've had the roku 3 for nearly three months and am quite impressed with the product. We were initially a bit nervous to walk away from cable/satellite, but it was easy after I discovered the roku. Setup and operation are simple.

Great, save one big problem

After much research, I purchased a Roku 3 about two months ago. Cable had become way too expensive and the Roku 3 seemed to be, based on my research, superior to Apple TV, Chromecast, and other streaming programs. We use the Roku 3 every day and find it very easy to use with plenty of great options and stations. However, we have noticed that during use the voices and the images either speed up or slow down. This has become very annoying and it makes watching shows very difficult. We have looked on message boards and it seems that this is a common problem. The best remedy we have found so far is to unplug the Roku 3 from the power source for 10 seconds before use. Again, this is not a deal breaker but it is definitely annoying. I love this device and I plan to continue to use it but I hope this can be remedied. If down the road this continues or appears to get worse, I may consider switching to Apple TV.

We bought two units and couldn't be happier. In two months, it's already paid for itself! No negative that we can see. Super simple to set up. Buy one. You won't regret it!

Easy & effective

We have used our Roku 3 for a year and we love it. It is extremely easy to set up and use. It streams Netflix, Amazon Prime, PBS and much more with no buffering. Highly recommended

I have two Roku 3's, which have worked great for two years. They were easy to install and allow me to watch the services I want without being constrained by my ongoing service provider.
