Great purchase, great product

We've had our Roku 3 for almost a year now and we enjoy it. I thought doing away with cable would be difficult, but having Roku 3 has been great for our family and our budget. The available channels are great, we've purchased Netflix and Hulu Plus and that works flawlessly with our Roku 3. In addition we can use our Amazon Prime account (had it set up prior to purchasing Roku 3) and between these three services we see a lot of our favorite television shows both for adults and children. My oldest daughter loves playing Angry Birds which is build into Roku 3. Since our purchase, multiple family members have purchased Roku products and done away with their regular cable providers. Invest in a good Wi-Fi connection so you can power your Roku 3 as well as all of our other products--smart phones, iPads, Kindle Fire, etc. We have our router in a completely separate room and on a different level in our house than our Roku 3 and there is rarely ever an issue with the connection speed. We have Comcast for our internet.

ROKU, the best medicine for me

I was diagnosed with ALS in Feb. 2013. and in March of 2013 I purchased 2 ROKU 3 streaming players.
For me it a God send. I can't walk so DVDs aren't handy. But having the ROKU 3 Players gives me a window to places I can no longer get to.
It truly is medicine for my soul!

I just purchased my third Roku simply because it is by far the very best product for streaming on your TV. So many choices it is mind blowing. The best variety of movie channels, news channels, sports channels and the list goes on.
This last one that I purchased I installed on my smart TV. Well it is a smart TV but not as smart as a Roku. I had a terrible problem trying to pull in my Wi-Fi signal but after I installed the Roku it is perfect. This is a product that is the ultimate in being user friendly, installation that a child could handle and I have never had a problem.
I can't imagine it getting better but I'm sure their working on something new,

I bought this a few months ago when our Blu Ray started acting funny. I really love it and it has been easy to navigate. Wish it was not so expensive but sometimes it is worth it to pay more for quality.
