Best little device I've ever owned

I bought my first Roku (3) in November of 2013. Since then, I've purchased another one for our house, one for my parents, one for my sister, and a Roku stick for my in-laws. To say that it's the most versatile streaming media player on the market would be an understatement; to say that the Roku represents the future of "TV" would be obvious. I can't recommend this company or their products enough.

Largely disapointed

Purchased to replace my wife watching netflix/hulu on her tablet. Roku is great when it works but mine crashes pretty consistently. Example - watched a 90 minute movie on netflix, had to restart and buffer a dozen times. Finished in just over two hours. When it works, features are nice and easy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought my Roku a year ago. I enjoy it so much I was able to cancel my Dish subscription & watch totally from my Roku. The only thing that would make Roku better would be if I couple purchase channels like the Food Network to stream their channel thru my Roku. That way I could choose what channels I watch instead of cable or dish packages. That would be ultimate TV. Still, Roku offers a wonderful array of channels to choose from. Love my Roku!

Great and easy way to access streaming media sources in one place. Still need cable or satalite to get major networks and sports.

Love having no cable

I bought my Roku 3 6 months ago and within a month had purchased a second. While I could have just transported the roku and plugged it into another TV I like the convenience of leaving the two devices alone. I've completely gotten rid of cable and love streaming my TV. Yes you have to wait for some shows a day or so through HULU or netflix, but we all DVR it anyway right? So easy to set-up and use. Lots of free apps and of course able to stream netflix, amazon prime, hulu, and other apps with subscription.
