We have owned our Roku 3 for almost a year. It has worked flawlessly. We liked it so well we bought one for our daughter in FL, and one for another daughter in PA.

Smarter way to go

I have had my ROKU for several months now and so far have had a good experience. I had one time that it became very slow but after I called tech support, I was helped to make some adjustments that solved the problem. We have an antenna for local channels and all other viewing is through our ROKU. Much cheaper then cable and enough variety to provide as much viewing as I need.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the Roku, I actually cancelled my cable TV subscription since I never use it. I also love the Plex app which links perfectly with one of the PCs on my network that's setup as a media server (with the free Plex server software).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Some applications freeze

Acorn and PLEX freeze or the audio goes out of sync. Happens several time a week.
My internet connection is very fast and the roku is connected to a gigabyte Lan.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My only regret is I didn't cut the cable cord earlier. Roku is perfect for me. I don't miss a thing. Plus the amount of challenges is staggering.

There is a lot to like about this product. I do not like that I have to unplug it after I'm done using it or the voices will be either high or low next time it's used. My wife likes to use the headphone feature while she's working out and it doesn't disturb the kids while they sleep.

I feel like I do not need cable...The span of Tv shows, movies etc are amazing....Initially I was downloading a lot of the apps...then I realized I got everything I was looking for from a couple of apps presented... set up is easy...it is a plug in and play...all that is needed is internet access....no cable bills.
I would recommend this to a friend!
