Improved from the last model .. BUT

Netflix does not work consistently with Roku. A lot of times I have to do a whole restart of my router, which is annoying given that Hulu and amazon work more reliably. This is an improvement from the last roku model I purchased

A lot better than satellite, or cable

We have a ROKU for each of our three TV's for about two years now. We stopped subscribing to DirecTV and we can't be happier. Finally we have a huge selection of movies we like and can watch them on our schedule, from beginning, pause them when we want. We have a 20Mbps internet connection and it is more than fast enough for instant loading of the movies. The ROKU has performed flawlessly, it even automatically updates it's software. We have been recommending ROKU to all our friends.

over heat

I have to unplug on warm days to allow the module to cool down before it will return to normal operation. The module has no effective way to cool the electronics

I absolutely love my Roku 3's. Just ordered my 4th one, to have in my office. I originally came from an Apple TV w/ XBMC on it. It was good, but sluggish and not as easy for the wife to use. With Roku 3 + Plex, I have all of my media available, and it has super smooth and quick navigation. Highly recommend!

I have had the Roku 3 for several months and I just love it. The speed is amazing and the application selection is great! The games are even fun with the remote that is very similar to that of the Wii.

I love the USB port media player

I am pleased to have purchased this player. The media player is an extra feature I like. However, I wish there were more formats that could be used. If the need arises I would purchase another.

I love my Roku!

We bought a Roku 3 a few months ago and wasn't sure we would like it. We moved from traditional cable to the Roku and it was one of the smartest investments I ever made. I still can access local television for the news but love the reduction in my monthly bills and enjoy watching different series without commercial interruption. This has been a win-win experience all the way around!!!
