The best entertainment purchase ever made!!

After sky high Time Warner bills the switch to Roku was a no brainer. It is very easy to set up and it is very easy to operate. The number of available programs is amazing. Live NFL football would be nice.

This was a gift. I love it! Wireless hookup was easy. Navigation through all the channels is easy. The only thing I don't like is that some channels require you have the actual channel through your cable or satellite provider. It's pointless to have it on both.

Two simple plug ins and you are ready to go. Simple to use and the quality is excellent. The best way to view streamiong conent such as Netflix, Vudu, etc. Many specialized channels are also available.

Very Good Product

I own two of the new Roku 3. I love them. Picture quality is better thru them than
thru the Time Warner mini-box. My only complaint is with the remote. It likes to eat
batteries and the remote pairing to use the earbuds get a little iffy at times. Once
those bugs are solved the product will be superior to anything on the market today.

Excellent device yet lacks one major thing

I've had my Roku for sometime and I have to say, its pretty good. There is so much you can do with it but one thing seems to evade it, DLNA. I have several TV's at home with DLNA and a Media Center running on a server and I can stream movies directly into them without any device. The Roku sits on a TV, that is not "smart", and was hoping to do the same. Wrong. It has no ability other than using some third party app to communicate with it. Plex is awful and some of the other options are expensive. Besides this huge over sight, I'm okay with it. We can still do Netflix at least so it's not a total loss.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its Great! You can get Netfilx, Hulu, Amazon, and a list of other channels, and a large amount of free channels too. Some games but it's not a game console. Some news but its world or national. If you get bored with this or can't find anything to watch then it's your own fault. If you have to have local news then get an antenna or just go back to the good old newspaper. The remote is simple, the set-up was simple, and watching TV is so easy and cost way less. ROLL TIDE!
