Best streamer I've tried

I have a Tivo and a Chrome Cast, but I bought the Roku in order to access my Amazon Prime streaming video. Now I use the Roku for Netflix and Hulu as well because it brings them up faster and I can search across all of them. I love it.

Slight change in design

This is lmy 2nd Roku, newest model. The only comment I can make is on the design of the control. It would be more convenient if the ok button was located in the middle of the directional buttons.

I updated from Roku XS to Roku 3. The new ROKU 3 is much smaller, loads faster, has more features and is more user firendly than the old ROKU.

We Love The Roku!!

I brought this several months ago and my daughter and I love it!! I enjoy the apps(especially the free ones!) and my daughter loves livestream and YouTube. I plan on getting her one of her own for her birthday!!

Best out there, but...

Prior to selecting the Roku 3, I did my homework, and it was the best out there, but with some improvements it would be even better. Three things I would like to see are: 1) Consistency in the UI among the different "channels". Because Roku doesn't own these companies, it may take some artful persuassion to achieve, or a workaround. 2) User-definable navigation and names for the channels and subchannels with the option to "undo" if needed. A good programming team's efforts here would go a long way. 3) Identify and address glitches. For example, when two-thirds of the way into a movie, suddenly it starts to self-loop every couple of minutes it becomes very frustrating. I plan to purchase more Roku units for my personal use in different parts of the house, and have been recommending it to my clients as well.

Good Product

This was a very good buy. I didn't want to add a cable box to the room in the basement, but I wanted to access Netflix, HBOGO, Showtime Anytime, Pandora, etc. The set-up was easy and the kids use it with no problem.

Got this as a gift so I didn't have to watch Netflix on my phone and it changed my life. I use my roku more than regular tv. Best thing ever!!
