Less reliable than Roku 2XD

Frankly, I don't experience any speed improvement over Roku 2XD I still have and use on another TV. The Roku3 needs to be rebooted several times a month whereas the the Roku2 is rock-solid. I do love Rokus so they are really nice machines and worth the purchase, but I'd buy a Roku2 instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought our roku about a month ago and absolutely love it.We actually ended up buying three more.Lots of options and very easy to navigate my 5 and 7 year old are pro at it. We bought it for homeschooling but have used it for entertainment just as well.The only thing I wish is that there were more educational channels to use with homeschooling but all in all it was definitely worth the money.

Love those headphones

Very happy with Roku. My model has headphones and thats what makes it great. I can watch without disturbing the wife. Wish I could get my HBO/Xfinity on it too.

I purchased my Roku 3 to watch movies and I am so glad that I did. It is so quick and easy to set up and there are so many different movie channels to chose from. I plan on buying another one for my bedroom in the very near future. I love my Roku 3.

We have had constant issue with roku 3. We can watch a program on anything Netflix or Amazon etc. And it gets snowy and cuts out and you miss part of it. Nothing has helped in trouble shooting the issue.
We have flawless service via google chromecast on another tv. So I have been sorely disappointed. We are returning the roku.

If it wasn't for sports and news content, I would probably drop my cable service since getting Roku. My wife and I enjoy the offerings on Netflix and Acorn especially.
