It does what it says! I love my Roku, the simple earpiece detail means a lot to me, my daughter is doing her college work few feet away, and I feel invisible, while I watch my shows.

I upgraded to the Roku 3 last year. I am glad I did so that I can connect an external hard drive as well as a network drive to play videos and music. The remote is durable enough for my kids to use.

I bought this a month ago and I am so happy I did. I can watch almost anything I want without having a bulky dish hanging from my roof or any part of my house.

I've use roku products over the last 5 years with no problems . the only thing I would suggest is adding a sleep timer or a off switch.

I bought this item on a referral from a friend, loved it so much I bought three more for the grand kids. It is by far my favorite streaming device. I have in the past used PS2, PS3 and xbox. Roku outshines all of them, not once have I seen it buffer or slag. It's easy to use and install and customer service is very friendly and helpful. It is small, convenient yet powerful. There are many channels available, web searching, you tube, and usb on the side allows the to play other content including the following formats: MP4 (H.264), MKV (H.264) Audio: AAC, MP3, Image: PNG, and JPG! You won't regret this product and definitely will love the savings!

I have had a Roku for over 3 years now. I started with the LT. I have added and HD and a Roku 3. I dropped cable service when I got the first one and have never gone back. There is nothing that I would want to watch that I can't get on the Roku or my TV antenna.
