I bought the roku 3 about 4-6 months ago i think it was and i like it. I like the added channels.
The thing i don't like about it and the reason i didn't give it 5 stars is, the history and lifetime channel need a cable provider to login to the channel. I don't have a cable provider that is why i have a roku unit. I just have a internet provider. I wanted to purchase the two channels and pay monthly like the rest of the channels i have but couldn't.
Other then the individual channel problems i like the roku 3 alot and recommend it to everyone.

meets my needs most of the time

I like most of the features and programming on Roku and I especially like the cost of the programming I receive. There are two main things that I am not happy with. I would love to have CBS entertainment programs and I would like some way to watch live special shows like the Academy Awards, Grammys, etc.Other than that Roku meets my entertainment needs.

The Best Media Streaming Device

My wife bought me the Roku 3 for Father's Day, I didn't really know much about this device ,until I start using it. It has a lot of features, i'ts easy to use. The Roku 3 comes with the remote .
Overall : I love the Roku 3 ,my family and I use it most of the time. This is the best media streaming device out there.

I had bought the roku 2 when it first came out after seeing it in the news about the best new tech items. When roku 3 came out my son got it for me. It great as well. The addition of the headphones in the remote is great. I have a new smart tv and the available apps are no comparison to roku. I also got the mount which is great. Always new channel. Love hulu, netflix, vudu, amazon best. Also old westerns, old drive in movies, old scary movies etc. we use both roku 2 and 3 in the home.
