Better Than Others By Far

During the past year that we've been using our Roku we've had very few problems with it. The other brand we used before would lock down and we'd have to unplug it to get it to re-set several times per week. The Roku has only locked down four or five times during this year of nearly constant use. However, it does get too warm from time to time and it will shut down sometimes. The need to find a way to dissipate the heat generated during use. Otherwise, it's well worth the money spent.

Small box - great features

I bought this about 2 months ago. It was easy to install and has a huge choice of channels. I like the 'favorite' channel feature. The Netflix feature is also great. All in all, good value for money.

Absolutely love my roku3, so much I got one for my son's room. I'm still debating on getting another 1. So if your on the fence I'd say, go for it you won't regret it.

RIP Cable!

Husband and I decided it was time to pull the plug on the exorbitant monthly bills from our cable company, bought Roku and a monster antenna, and have discovered a whole new way to watch television! Easy to set up, navigation comes quickly, and a HUGE array of channel options are available (and most are free.) I wish we'd done this YEARS ago!

I got Roku for Christmas, and I absolutely love it. Its very easy to setup - I was streaming movies in a about 15 minutes - and it is also very easy to use. It has a lot more channels to choose from than the "smart dvd" player I have, so I can always find something to watch at anytime. I liked it so much I got one for my son to use at his home!

It is extremely hard to search for content. Almost everything cost $$ and I have yet to find a live stream sporting event. Movies are ridiculously priced and content is always blocked. I cannot find any setup parameters that specifies content filters. Roku.com website is really poor and impossible to navigate. The service is a waste of time and money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
