My wife and I did not realize when we bought our Roku that it would completely change the way we view TV. It enabled us to watch new television shows from start to finish on our own schedule. It is so easy to rent the latest movies when we want to watch them. The variety of programs and ease of use makes me wish we had bought Roku much much earlier.

Great streaming device.

The new Roku is a great streaming device and can be configured for wired or wireless data transfer. It is lightning fast compared to its older predecessor. That said, as a 68 year old I find the font sizes and displays considerable harder to read than the older Roku. Font size doesn't appear to be configurable. :o(

I have had every version of Roku I love them all but The NEW 3 IS FASTER and Feature rich. LOVE IT!!!
My family loves it easy enough for our 3 year old and still great for us old guys to.

Will change your life

I have been a Roku owner for a few years.... Bought the 2 when it came out, then the 3 when it came out and retired the 2 to the bedroom. I also bought one for my dad. It changed the way we watch TV. I pay WAAAAY less to cable companies now and have moved almost solely to the Roku for my watching needs. My wife still like cable for a bit of network TV. Honestly, I purchased the Roku for one thing. PLEX!!! Plex is incredible and allows me to stream movies and TV that I have digitally saved to my TV's, computer, phone, tablet, etc... Incredible. The other content available on the Roku is so vast and remarkable that you'll be amazed.
Get this little tiny box and prepare to be astounded at the fantastic interface, ease of use and variety of content. Absolutely worth the small ticket price at TWICE the price!

Roku 3 completes me

I love the Roku 3 and here's why... For starters, the interface is very easy to use. One feature I love is that you can search for any actor/movie/tv show and Roku will show you all the apps that offer what you're looking for. Another great feature is the headphone port in the remote control. I often use this late at night when I can't sleep and don't want to wake my girlfriend. I also like that it turns on pretty quickly and doesn't ever turn off. One feature I would want to have is to go into sleep mode when my tv turns off. I'll turn my tv on the next morning and see that the Roku has been streaming all night.

You remember when things were really plug and play.... this is as easy as it gets. Once you are connected you have more than enough programing.

Best bang for your buck

I've had this device for over 9 months now and have had no significant issues to speak of. The avalible channels through the store and the hidden channels avalible on the forums make for an unlimited amount if entertainment options. The only cons are a lack of a built in web browser.
