Roku rocks!

I use Roku at a vacation home so I don't have to subscribe to local service there. Setting it up is easy and reliable. I added a Slingbox to expand my tv choices and it works perfectly!

Acorn TV channel is wonderful

We've been enjoying the Roku 3. Hardly takes up any space on the cabinet that holds the TV. Acorn TV (British TV and movies) was our main reason to get a Roku. Added over a dozen other channels that were free. The best one we've tried so far is Pandora, which was available on our smart TV but never used. Listening to customized stations is now my favorite pastime, either on TV or computer. Look forward to exploring other channels.

Faster than the older Roku's

I like the Roku 3. It is fast (with a fast processor) but it doesn't seem to effect the streaming speed. Also I've had to "reset" my roku because the playback speed slows down so EVERY channel sounds like their voices are a pitch lower. Not sure why. Still, I'm glad I dropped my Satellite service. The Program "PLAYON" is definitely needed to make the Roku worthwhile!!!!

Great little media player!

We upgraded to a Roku 3 after our Roku 2 XS died. We've been incredibly happy with the Roku 3. It's a faster, better version of the Roku 2 XS. Our most common use for the Roku 3 is Netflix, although Plex gets some use too.

Great device, oddly limited game options

This is our third Roku and is a great value for the price. It was bundled with "angry birds space" and a Wii style remote. These work great, but there are very few games overall Many of them are very simple and no way to know if any take advantage of the remotes gesturing.

I bought my roku 3 last april and the headset was not functionning. The support agent said the device was broken and will replace it. I still waiting ...
