Easy to use. Lot of features.

Great unit to use. Lots of free channels. You can do a Google search to find all kinds of content. I do a combination of Hulu Plus and Netflix to get all of my viewing pleasure, a lot cheaper than cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but glitchy

Overall a very happy customer. Occasionally we'll watch a movie and it freezes up but unsure if it's roku or network. I've had roku since v1.0 and the 3 packs amazing punch for its size. Well done!

So glad I bought this over Apple TV! Love it! The picture is clear and it's so easy to follow. I like this better than my blu-ray!

Needs Improvement

While some of the content on ROKU is great, it needs improvement overall. For example, why not make content easy to pause and rewind? Neither of these features work with my ROKU. There is way too much content for purchase and not enough HD quality free programming. I really could care less about all the religious programming which constitutes the majority of the free content. I have the ROKU 3 model, yet the majority of the programming on ROKU is still not in HD.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

consider roku a TV alternative

My roku (3) grows everyday. I will say it would take too much time to access and view all the channels, my interest is mainly movies, and not just modern but also vintage as well as international and anime. As I am always into current events, I have considered using your selections and streaming news thereby stopping my cable service, paying for a few good movies or using utube and netflix .
The savings would be more than 50%! Take that TWC.
