Works very well

The only issue I've encountered is a disconnect on occasion, but that is rare, and probably not the unit's fault, but rather the web connection. Killing power and then re-plugging unit solves the issue.

Prior to Roku I was using Apple TV but got tired of its limitations (having to import media, not playing nice with other formats, etc.) A friend recommended Roku and I love it. Easy peasy setup and easy to use. Plus I can add media from anywhere on my computer. Definitely a must have.

I mostly use mine for Plex, Netflix and Pandora but I must say I'm very impressed. It's fast, stable and very easy to use with the remote. Adding more channels is a snap and takes seconds to do.

I bought the model 3 just after it came out. I have several other steamers but nothing comes close to the ability of the Ruku. The remote is so simple but does everything you need. Love the plug in headphones.

Still can't combine the best features

The Netflix app on the 3 is crowded and inconvenient compared to the Roku 2. The battery life on the remote is terrible. I've gone through at least 3 sets in 8 months. At least it doesn't crash like the 2 does. Language settings are a joke in the applications. I guess the box itself is fine, but the apps for it are worse than the Roku 2.
