I use the Roku everyday .. either to workout watching videos or listing to music. I love watching movies on the roku .. video quality is amazing & so is the sound. Works great with a sound bar. I have yet to have any problems using the roku. If you don't have an app simply download a private app. You can do a lot with the Roku. As will use your flash-drive to upload videos and music or photos.

The Roku 3 is a fast and responsive little bix that provides all the entertainment you will ever need. From YouTube to Netflix to Plex to the news channels, our family has all the videos we will ever need. Great job Roku!

I bought it almost a year ago and its my only choice to video streaming. I also have a ps3 and it can't beat my roku3. My daughter has a roku2 and she's a pro using it... Roku3 is an unbeatable gadget

Bought the roku 3 about 3 months ago. I wasn't sure why I wanted a streaming device since I have a ps4 and tablet but I was glad that I bought it. It is extremely easy to use and you can access every streaming channel that you use in no time at all. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering buying one. worth the money!

Streaming is the Future

I've used Roku for a couple of years now, and recently upgraded to Roku 3. I'm convinced that Cable TV is a dying medium, and soon we'll be watching all of our TV via Internet Streaming.
But watching Streaming on your computer is annoying. Watching on your couch, with a remote, via Roku, is the way to do it. I'm amazed how much content is available by just spending a few dollars on various accounts at streaming sites. The cost savings over Cable is tremendous.
Roku 3 has an improved and faster interface, over previous Rokus, and it was definitely a step up. Also, the YouTube channel works very well, and even seamlessly integrates with your phone or tablet, just like a Chromecast®, allowing anyone to toss YouTube videos on the screen for all to watch. It's really something to see.

Great device - quick, responsive and easy to setup

I bought this device a month ago and love it. The setup was simple and I can now enjoy all of my internet subscriptions with ease - and at much less cost than cable. Only wish it had an easy to use YouTube service.

Can't get it to work!

Every time I try to use my Roku 3 I get a purple screen and a scrolling message: "hdcp unauthorized access content disabled. I've finally given up after numerous reboots, switching out the hdmi cable...
My Roku 1 works great.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
