Best Value when combined with a streaming site

I have own my ROKU for each room in the house, plus purchased one for my mom and oldest son. Picture quality and sound are great. It allows you to connect wirelessly and to different streaming sites including YouTube and many more including Karaoke. Attach a surround sound to it and it's like going to the movies at home. Highly recommended!

Great Entertainment from my Roku 3

I have had my Roku 3 for 7 months now and have been very pleased with it. The picture and sound quality has been phenomenal. I am a little hard of hearing so the close caption feature while watching Netflix has been great. I have been picking up new things to watch from the store and have become a big fan of Vimeo. My daughter's family just bought a new Smart TV and my Roku 10 times more features than what they have. I bought a refurbished Roku1 for the grandkids TV last fall and they have been getting a lot of use from it without any problems. For serious TV though, I would go with the Roku 3 for picture and sound quality.

I have given up on cable service and the Roku more than reiterates that decision! I watch only what I want with the Roku box; I love the choice of channels!!

I am a Roku Believer but....

We have a Roku box on each of our TV's. This last one, the one with the earphones is by far the worst. The batteries don't make good contact and we are always having to take it apart and reinsert the batteries. And it's NOT the batteries. Also, the earphones phase on and out so they don't work. I've Tried to get them to replace the remote but to Jo avail. I guess the more bells and whistles tho more to go wrong. My basic Roku boxes work well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A huge improvement over the Roku LT

I had a Roku LT and replaced it with the Roku 3 when I decided to drop cable. The Roku 3 is much faster than the Roku LT. I also really like the wifi remote and use the built in headphone jack a lot.
The Roku Android app has also been greatly improved as of late.
I would recommend this to a friend!
