Bought the Roku 3 to replace the cable service. The performance, navigation and ability to use my Apple and Android devices to control Roku is fantastic on this device.
My only issue is the once or twice I have to reset the device because I get the HDCP Errors. Even replacing the HDMI cables or switching them around does not resolve the problem as other had mentioned. Other newer devices work on our Sony Bravia LCD from 2010, so I do not think it is a port or old tv issue.
Would I recommend this product to others, Yes for the right price point, foot print and ease of use.

This is our third Roku and we love it. This one especially has the option of using the earphones so my son can watch TV late at night and doesn't bother anyone.

I have had my Roku 3 for months now and have enjoyed its speed of loading and ease of operation. I like the remote that responds to hand motions. I don't play games but it helps in other ways. I have at least 4 streaming channels on the Roku and all work with a catch. I watch Netflix, Amazon, Redbox, and Hallmark spirit channels mostly. I would really like to get a 3D channel on my Roku box, but until then I will continue to enjoy the movies that have outstanding quality video and beautiful 5.1 sound.

I really like my Roku. I have a Samsung smart tv but I still use my Roku for all of my video services. The ability to use headphones with the remote provides AMAZING sound. I would highly recommend this product.

That screen navigation is top notch. Best I have used anyway. I like some of the small games that were added, but mostly the channels. So many thing to choose from that help my whole family. Thank you!

Simple, and FAST. The Roku 3 also crashes far less often than the Roku 2's we have. Love Plex, especially. Even with a streaming-enabled Blu-ray player, we always favor the Roku. Great, fluid user-interface.
