very good video but not audio.

Bought this about a year ago and very satisfied with video but disappointed with audio as it does not have an optical connection. (better audio)

My boyfriend got me this as a present. I could not live without it. Binging on Orange Is The New Black, Breaking Bad and House of Cards and Netflix movies. This is the best present ever! Wide range of content is good.

A few years ago I received a Roku 2 XD at that time I was unsure of how much I would actually like it..Needless to say it changed my whole entertainment life. When the Roku 3 came out I was already convinced that I had to run out and buy it. I can tell you from honest experience the Roku 3 will never disappoint. I love mine and would recommend it to any one who ever asks me what to get.

Roku 3 Overheats if left in on Power status.

Something is a miss with Roku 3 If left in a power on status the unit overheats and locks up. Cycling the power returns it to normal use. Other than that Excellent product.

Amazing entertainment in a small package

Many channels are available to explore programs and movies for every taste. Some of the movies that can be purchased at a reasonable price are recent titles not available on Netflix. Games are available too, which you can interact with using the motion control feature of the remote. My only disappointment is that the manipulation of the screen pointer during gaming is not as precise as I would like.

I found the Roku 3 to be much faster on boot up time plus the larger memory meant faster movie and TV load up. The high definition becomes clear much faster too. My only complaint is the loss of the optical cable plug so I can't plug it into my surround sound and the ear buds just don't cut it. Why in the world would you do that?!!
