Cut your cable!

I got a Roku 3 streamer a few months back and combined it with an over the air (local channel) antenna to let me stop my cable TV service.. I now get a good selection of free channels and if in the mood, can easily rent a near first run movie for a reasonable charge.

Barely tolerable

Constantly freezes and fails to reset. After freezing the HD signal is lost. This happens with MLB, Netflix, Amazon, etc. We have basically given up on it and use other options most of the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought our 42 inch tv about 6 years ago and it was not internet ready. Buying a Roku3 was the best thing as it brought our tv into 2014 with the new technology to watch and enjoy countless channels and shows. Thank you Roku in making our tv viewing much more entertaining. And saving us from buying a newer big screen. Ron & Florence

I have tried other similar devices But this is the device I find my self using most often. I am planning on replacing my Boxee box with another roku in my other room. It is a definite must have.

I have had the Roku 3 for 3 months or so. Even though I had a smart TV with wifi, I am very happy I have upgraded my wireless TV experience by purchasing it.

I "cut the cord" when my last cable bill doubled. After reading about streaming, I decided to go with the ROKU. I really do love it! I subscribe to a few of the channels and everything comes in very clearly.
