Love my Roku

I purchased Roku 3 a few months ago and It is worth its weight in gold. It beats my cable by a long shot. Could not be happier with my purchase.

For the last 65 years, we've been "told what to watch" by the major networks.
Tired of "reality nothing TV"? With Roku, you can watch just about anything you can imagine. With the addition of Netflix, AcornTV and Amazon Prime Instant Video? Who NEEDS TV any longer? Easy, slick and small. Everything you need. Why are you waiting to change over? I HIGHLY recommend a Roku, depending on your budget and needs, they're pretty much affordable to ANYONE.
We have recently also found the ability to "watch on the move" and move rooms/TV's and start up the SAME movie/show/whatever on the OTHER Roku's in the house, which TRIPLES the convenience of it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had my Roku3 for several months. Decided to watch Inspector Morse using Netflix but the English don't seem to speak clearly to me. Did some exploring and found a way to come up with the closed captions. Makes all the difference in the world in following the dialogue.

Great Product

I purchases 2 of these about 4 months ago. My sister and grandmother loves them.
The devices work great no lag or anything. They also have the updated version of apps which is great.
The only small downside os there arent too many games. Lots of competition are releasing streaming devics with more games....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great when it works

The Roku 3 is a nice small unit that works well when it works. Every time we have a power outage, the Roku has to be taken back to factory settings and set up again to even find the wireless router. We have had severaloccurances when the HDMI connection is not read by the Roku and we get the purple screen of death. Changing cables, rebooting, turning off power to everything for a few minutes, etc. does not help--It requires to be taken back to factory settings which then requires us to re-register on Roku site and put back in all of our user names and passwords to stream.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i have a roku 2 and 3 I really don't see a difference in them but I can say I love them both,i just bought another roku also
