No Improvement Over Roku 2

Except for a few more problems in setup, I don't see any real improvements over the Roku 2. It doesn't load any faster on streaming and the support is still sub-marginal. However, compared to alternatives, I would still recommend it.

I have had my ROKU 3 for about a month and am generally very happy with it. All the menus have changed and not always for the good. The hardware is obviously superior - faster and more reliable but the software is confusing and often difficuly for me to use. Perhaps I will figure it out in time for the next generation.

I bought my roku 3 and loved it. Unfortunately it started overheating within the first year and quit working after 14 months. Warrenty gone of course, recommend buing the cheaper version.

We bought the Roku a few weeks ago and have absolutely love it! It is easy to use and gives or family options when we want to relax and watch tv.

I'm glad I purchased a Roku 3 because the speed and streaming features a much better than the Sony Bluetooth video player that I was using

Roku 3 provides features advertised, but don't depend on the ear plug attachment in the remote to work reliably - intermittent static spoils any attempt to use the Roku system while your partner try’s to sleep

I've had the Roku 3 for 8 months now. It replaces my Sony Bravia internet interface which is 3 years old and much slower. We use the Roku 3 every day, as it is our primary entertainment source even though we do have cable TV. Roku 3 rarely buffers as compared to the Bravia. Response time from button presses is very good. Also, I'm glad to see that an official YouTube app was added this year. I also enjoy the TV episodes automatically continuing to play the next episode int the season. I look forward to more good features and apps like Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, and YouTube.
