Not that great at all really

The connection is always inconsistent. Local media channels are really ugly to look at when viewing local media. There is always Media Browser and Plex but they aren't that nice to looking. The channels really do suck. There is NOTHING that great to watch. Roku is slow and freezes up at least once a day. I would not waste your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

bought a few months ago after having use a roku 2 for awhile. smooth operation, intuitive controls, amazingly simple set up of the device. plus plus!

Alternative to cable

I bought this a few months ago, anticipating the end of my cable contract. I like that there are lots of channels available. It is easy to set up and use.

I am very satisfied with the range of choices within each channel. My family gets to enjoy everything like animations, movies, some of our favorite tv shows, documentaries, and we can even shop on our Roku.
