This device works as advertised. It does everything that it is supposed to...and as a bonus, it even interferes with my home wifi. Apparently this is not an uncommon problem-go online and see for yourself. There are some complicated fixes but so far none have worked. When my Roku is on, no one can go online. The fine folk who make this wonderful device need to address this problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was using my son's WI to watch netflix and the Wi broke. I decided to purchase the Roku and am so happy I did! It is so small,convenient and easy to use-love it!

This device has been our soul component to evening entertainment at home. We love the Applications provided and the simple use of the remote to just click and play any title we choose..

Turn off dish network and went to roku. The savings are incredible. Easy to use large graphics. I wish I did this sooner.
