I have used Rokus for about 3 years. I like being able to watch Netflix tv series in sequence. I lowered the stars in my evaluation because I wish there were more free choices instead of mostly subscriptions. But overall Roku is an excellent alternative to cable.

I brought this product about a month ago. I love it so much that I fight my son for the remote. I never like to many interruptions on Cable and the cost is so in my budget. Thank you for a life saving product.

Becoming Faulty

Had the Roku 3 for about a year. It's becoming faulty and frequently freezes or the audio drops out. Usually needs to be unplugged and replugged in. And the internet connection has been checked by technicians and is confirmed to be good
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product

I've had this Roku3 for about 2 months now and I love it! Great for streaming movies from the internet and from my external hard drive. It's a nice addition to my movie viewing options!

This is my fourth Roku. I have generally been very pleased apart from a few minor issues where I have had to reboot the unit.

Bought it primarily because it could be hard wired into my home network.
I do not like wireless because of speed and dropped connections.
I stream Amazon prime on it to a 50" with no network capabilities.
I also use some of the free channels also.
It streams great and the HD is fantastic. Could not be happier with this product.
